This week there's new music from Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Blakfish, Spinnerette, The Twang, The Horrors, The Virgins, a-ha and Madness; plus some old stuff (or "classic hits" as they like to say on proper radio) from Alison Moyet, Inspiral Carpets, Interpol, Death Cab For Cutie and Ivor Cutler. All this plus a track that arrived just too late for Monday's Moon-related playlist but I couldn't just let it pass.

Dr E Vibenstein's Wednesday Week - July 1

If the widget fails you, click here.

Blimey, I go away for a week and the world's most famous living pop star dies. On this week's show, as well as the inevitable Michael Jackson tributes, there's new music from Royksopp, The Gaslight Anthem, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, The Gossip, Howling Bells and The Big Pink; some older stuff from new albums by Spinal Tap and the Faces; a lost '80s classic from the unpleasantly named Humpe und Humpe (who were renamed Swimming With Sharks for the UK market, although you probably still don't remember them) and some Glastonbury-related shenanigans from Madness and The Specials.
